glad you had a good time-i did the lands end to john o,groats trip on a bike years ago, when i was young!.
it was a good experience but the weather in the lake district was awful and i got soaked from then on until i hit john o' groats- then, the clouds skudded away and the whole area was bathed in the brightest light i've ever seen-i could have happily stayed there and never gone back!.
